  • This collection started as a mic test and turned into a library. What is unique about the collection is that the phone was taken apart so you get each individual element as clean as possible. It was recorded with shotgun mics, a TLM 103 to see how it sounded with something other than dialogue, and a Cold Gold contact mic at 96 khz, which was the biggest surprise as it sounds like a high definition retro mic when placed on the back of the phone's rotary dial. • Fire Sound Effects Small Fires Play Track 46 sounds included, 43 mins mins total $40

This library was made for the small stuff.  I have always had a hard time finding small fire sounds.  I work mostly in games, and trying to find a small fireplace sound, or torches on the wall in a castle, or perhaps a candle or oil lamp sound, are impossible to find in commercial libraries!  I've always been unhappy with what I had to make for those elements.  So, I went to work getting small and delicate fire sounds.

It took multiple field recording trips using a variety of different materials to find the best small fire sounds.  Finally, after a lot of hard work (and smoke to the lungs), here is the Small Fire SFX Library!

    • Small fires with a variety of different materials including cloth, cotton, hand sanitizer, a multitude of different woods, Vaseline, and pure alcohol
    • 1.22 Gigs, 43+ mins, 46 files
    • Stereo & Mono 96Khz, 24bit
    • Metadata included for programs like Soundminer
  • World Sounds Sweden Ambiences Play Track 56+ sounds included, 220 mins total $50

This is our home. Our sounds from the country we live in. Hear the cold winter winds from the hills of Gothenburg, the city life of the student town of Uppsala and the untouched nature far from the highways and industries from the whole year.

We have collected the nature, cities, parks and rivers in a compact package. A library like this wouldn’t be complete without wallas where you can hear the Swedish language, in a café, shopping mall and train station.

This comes down to over 220 minutes in 7.2 GB. Everything is recorded on a Sound Devices 633 with Neumann KM184 and Sennheiser MKH50 in Stereo (96 kHz, 24 Bit).

    Sonner Sound

  • Magic & Fantasy Sound Effects Helinä Play Track 754+ sounds included, 225 mins total $55

“Helinä” can be translated as “the tinkling sound made by the shaking of tiny bells”.  These may be wind chimes, and some are quite large, but the meaning of the name still rings true.  Beautiful, glorious, and entrancing wind chimes, all stirred up for your designing and listening pleasure.

We’ve meticulously recorded and only very lightly edited 15 different sets of wind chimes composed of varying materials, shapes, and sizes. The result is a stirring array of shimmering textures from the soft dull knock of bamboo to the brilliant crystalline sparkle of obsidian.

The chimes sets and performances include:

Chimes: Bamboo, Glass Shards, Porcelain Bell, Cast iron Bell, Glass Bell, Stoneware, Obsidian, Buoy, Paper/Mixed, Copper, Aluminum, Bronze, Agate, Shells, Capiz

Performances: Flowing (Short, Med, Long), Breeze (Light), Windy (Moderate), Stormy (Heavy), Quaking, Plops, Gusts, Strikes, Grabbing, Releasing

You’ll get incredible tonal depth, preciously sustained tails, and conveniently isolated strikes and “gusts” resulting in a natural representation of each chime.  All of the chime-work was recorded in 192 kHz so you can bend, stretch, and twist with the comfort of the extended harmonic content of each chime.  The majority of the stereo content is presented in Mid-Side format (noted in tracklist and metadata) such that the stereo width can be dialed in as desired and a clean mono track can be had without any added processing or summing. All of the performances resulted in 50 separate files for each of the 15 chimes, making layering and matching performances a breeze.  In addition to the chime sets, we’ve included four stereo wind captures, in different capacities and locations, for adding context and ambiance to any wind chime-appropriate environment you may find yourself working on.
