  • Bird Sound Effects Crows Play Track 30+ sounds included $45

The Crows library includes 30 stereo tracks of nothing but crow sound effects, perfect for single isolated effects, but also for ambience track layering.

Every sound is recorded inside forests, and close to crows’ nests with younger birds being fed and calling out, and next to natural habitats where bigger flocks gather in trees. It also has a variety of up-close caw sounds from the only tame albino crow in Scandinavia, recorded in a bird’s zoo.

The crow has quite a large vocabulary, and the classic calling usually is a little different from bird to bird. Some are more round when sounding out, while others are just plain hoarse and rusty-sounding.

The library includes both untreated tracks, and noise reduction-processed tracks in two separate folders. Noise reduction-processed tracks have been cleaned up with a CEDAR NR system.

Equipment used: Telinga Stereo Microphone and Flexible dish, and Sound devices 702 Recorder.

All tracks are 96K/24 bit apx. 1 Gb big when unzipped. All meta data tagged.

  • Winter Parks by Badlands Sound features 31 ambiences of parks in or near the city recorded during the winter months. These sounds are three minutes long and are loopable allowing for easy editing while cutting ambiences for the projects you are working on. This was recorded in 96k / 24 bit with high level professional gear: Sound Devices 702t, a pair of Sennheiser MKH 8040’s and a Rycote in ORTF configuration.

  • This is a unique bicycle library that captures this characteristic bike in clean, quiet, nicely performed true exterior rides. Including multiple perspectives, speeds and actions. From fast passbys on asphalt to slow onboard recordings and smooth stops.

The BadBike is a rattling and broken bicycle that perfectly nails the sound of a worn out bike, it’s passbys and hardstops are hard too miss.

    Speeds and actions:
Three speeds. Departures from slow, medium to fast getaways. Arrivals from slow stops with gently squeaking handbrakes to heavy stuttering skids.

    Five perspectives:
    1. Onboard Front: captures the whirring tire and surface sound.
    2. Onboard Pedal: nice overall combination of pedaling, crank creaks, chain rattle, tire and surface sounds.
    3. Onboard Rear: close up sound of the rear axle, with chain, sprocket and switching of gear.
    4. Tracking shot: mono recording of the passby, keeping the bike in focus while passing by.
    5. Static XY shot: stereo recording of the passby that emphasizes speed.

Overview of perspectives and mic placement:

Onboard recordings are 2-3 minutes long depending on speed. Higher speeds > shorter duration.
All 3 onboard mics are edited in sync with one another to make layering easy.
All Passbys, Arrivals and Departures move from Left to Right.

    Metadata & Markers:
Because we know how important metadata is for your sound libraries we have created a consistent and intuitive description method. This allows you to find the sound you need easily, whether you work in a database like Soundminer/Basehead/PT Workspace work, or a Exporer/Finder window.

However, we are aware that some people have different needs for different purposes, so we’ve created a Metadata Reference Guide that explains the structure. And because we’ve automated the metadata proces, you can be confident that a ‘find & replace’ command will always replace all instances.

    Download our Metadata Reference Guide

    Download complete metadata PDF

If you have any questions about this, contact us!

Additionally, we added Markers to some wave files, so specific sound events are easy to spot in Soundminer or other database apps.

  • The Foley Essentials sound effects library features over 90 lifelike recordings of everyday actions from Academy Award®-winning sound artists Mark Mangini and Richard L. Anderson. Craft your scenes with common Foley recordings like footsteps, cloth rustle, body grabs, and dozens of props to bring your everyday scenes to life.

What is Foley? Foley is technically the act of recording sound effects performed in-sync to picture, using various props and surfaces, often on a Foley stage. For this library, these Foley-like sounds were recorded by Mangini and Anderson to fill out temp mixes of feature film projects before the traditional Foley process – with a focus on discrete actions within natural sonic environments.

Each sound file is embedded with rich, descriptive metadata for fast, intuitive search results to help increase efficiency and sustain creativity.

    Key Features:

    • 93 broadcast .wav files (400MB)

  • This in-depth and enormous library was originally created with video games in mind but became much more detailed over time. Most of the props were used on multiple surfaces, with multiple versions. This avoids sounding repetitious. Props range from Grabs, Drops, Rolls, Slides, Crinkles, Shakes, Handling, and much more.

There are no footsteps in this compilation, however, there are over 3000 versatile sounds.
This well recorded Foley library is very perfect for all media content.
The total amount of files in Essential House Foley is over 3200, offering a large dynamic range in props used.

Recorded in Burbank CA, we used state of the art equipment and computers. The sounds have all been captured and mastered in Pro Tools, and kept natural sounding, by edited and mixing with very light and natural sounding compression and limiting.

  • Screaming is a collection of different types of scream sounds covering everything from funny anime to disturbing horror screams. Unlike other libraries out there, we have recorded a wide variety of male and female screams in specific situations which include: anime screams, warrior screams, screams of a football fan, falling from height, horror screams, screams inside a tunnel and much, much more.

Our Audio Craftsmen recorded performances of our in-house voice artists from various distances. We have captured screams close-miked, from distant perspectives and even shouts and screams from a tunnel which has a haunting natural reverb. These samples were then meticulously edited, meta tagged and made UCS compliant so you can find your desired sounds and drag them straight to your projects effortlessly. All the files are available unprocessed in 192 kHz which gives you a lot of room for sonic manipulation if required (you can pitch and time stretch to create monster voices or high pitched creatures.)

We have used a variety of male and female voices and captured different variations covering almost all types of screams needed for your projects, which saves you from hiring a voice actor.
This library is a great addition to your audio collection and perfect for your anime, video games, films, and TV productions.

  • Foley Sound Effects Cinema Experience Play Track 377 sounds included, 46 mins total $46

The Cinema sound effects library brings you the sounds of a quintessential cinema experience – from popcorn, snacks, beverages, fellow (even obnoxious) audience members and old-school creaky cinema seat!

Our Audio Craftsmen manipulated a variety of props and snacks to yield a huge number of useful sounds. The actions in these recordings cover moving popcorn around in a cardboard bucket, dropping nachos on a cinema carpet, pouring cola over ice into a cup, slurping it through a straw, rustling various plastic and foil snack wrappers, shushes, spectator reactions and comments, perspective coughs and whispers and much more!

Accent your film, TV or game scenes and build an authentic cinema, picture house or theatre environment with this Foley-based library!

Sounds have been separated into the following categories:

Cinema Seat: Close-mic’d and perspective recordings of the fabric and squeaks of a well-worn chair while someone sits down in it.

Cinema Steward Sweeping: In the after-movie quiet, hear the sound of an employee sweeping up popcorn and nachos with a broom on carpeted and hard surfaces.

Cola: Pouring soda into a plastic and paper cup, drinking, slurping, sipping, clinking and rattling ice, carbonated fizz, moving the straw, screwing a plastic cap – the fizzy drink essentials!

Popcorn: Eating, munching, shaking, crunching, sifting, dropping, digging, moving popcorn in a cinema-style cardboard bucket.

Nachos: As above but with nachos! Manipulated within a carboard tray, as one would find at the cinema.

Spectator Reactions: A multitude of lines and reactions one usually hears from fellow audiences, including gaps, coughs, and questions. Additional perspective whispers, murmurs and eating will form a fantastic foundation for building up any cinema or theatre scene.

Wrappers: The dreaded but essential crinkling of various paper and foil snack wrappers.

All sounds were recorded in 24Bit 96kHz, and have been tagged with extensive UCS metadata for ease of use.

  • Bird Whistles Vol. 3 explores the special mix of sounds produced by Acme’s quality bird call tools. Featuring crow, cuckoo, duck, curlew and owl performances, this library offers an expressive range of vocalisations, calls, birdsongs, glissandos, hoots, caws, trills and even yawns!

These sounds are ideal for cartoons, animated or humorous productions requiring energy and character. Or, calls can be used in more realistic sonic settings and adding a touch of nature to backgrounds. The sounds also lend themselves to further processing, yielding effective, whacky designs.

All sounds are delivered in 24Bit 192kHz format allowing further sonic manipulation, and have been meticulously edited and tagged with extensive UCS compliant metadata for ease of use.

  • A massive 496 Audio Files of detailed and balanced recordings of handwriting performances. Scribbles, erasing, check marks, blackouts, colouring, circles and crosshatches for each writing tool are in this complete Foley library.

You get mechanical pen and pencil clicks, cap pop-offs and snap-ons, squeaky pens and thick markers, crayons, ball point pens, felt pens, erasers, highlighters and sharpies.

Capturing the detail of the subtle sound with zero background noise is an art in itself! For these recordings, we found that the best results were achieved using an LCR configuration. A tightly positioned Rode NTG3 shotgun mic for the centre was used, along with a pair of slightly pulled back Sennheiser MKH 8040s to provide a gentle stereo image. The environment we used was our “dead room”, completely silent and reverb-free for this type of recording (this neat little room approaches a mini anechoic chamber) Reliably transparent and highly recommended, a Sound Devices Mix-Pre-6 was used to capture the final recordings.

  • UK Football Vol. 3 is a concise collection of five-a-side football gameplay sounds recorded from the goalkeeper’s perspective. Hear players kick and catch balls, score goals, hit the goal post, practice drills, groan in frustration, swear, cheer each other on and more!

These candid recordings are full of energetic male voices, athletic enthusiasm, North West English accents and football impacts.

This quintessentially English yet versatile library can also be used for any global Game, TV or Film project requiring a dose of athletic excitement. Included sounds will allow you to sweeten spectator sports scenes with background passes, focus on team dynamics with spirited shouts, or enhance winning goals with football shoot-outs!

All sounds are delivered in 24Bit 96kHz format allowing further sonic manipulation, and have been meticulously edited and tagged with extensive UCS compliant metadata for ease of use.

  • In this sound pack I’ve included an in-depth selection of active ambiences. This library is focused more on the natural ambience of both busy main streets and calmer side streets.

Most sounds were captured below 110 St. and prominently in the Lower East and West Village. There are a multitude of police and firetruck sirens at varying distances as well as some not so common areas like the Intrepid Pier and the Hudson River Heliport ambience.

I’ve also included some extensive subway rides. All boring bits were edited out for a strong final product. There are multiple train rides with various levels of walla and PA announcements.

One thing that is very common in NYC during the summer months are the rain and thunderstorms. I’ve included a number of wet traffic, distant thunderstorms and heavy rains.

All in all this is a good representation of New York’s streets and subway systems.
