Sound Effects

  • Conspiracy Theory contains a wide selection of dynamic and varied sound effects that are inspired by the sonic trends found in contemporary documentaries on streaming services. These sounds include low booms, rhythmic ticks, radio voices, singing, pads, stabs, whistles, rumble whooshes, and production elements. They were crafted from both organic and digital sources to provide maximum versatility and variation. Our award-winning Sound Designers recorded and edited the sounds from string instruments, ethnic winds, percussion, digital/analogue synthesizers, and male vocalists.

This library is your one-stop solution to sound/musical effects for modern documentaries and films that have a twist or tension. All effects were recorded in 24Bit 96kHz, allowing for further sonic manipulation. Perfect for Sound Designers and Composers, ideal for use in Film, TV and Game projects, and will make a perfect addition to your sound design arsenal.

We looked at several documentaries as a reference for this library. These include The Last Dance, Cowspiracy, Inside Job, and Making a Murderer.

    Here are the included folders:

Low Booms: Heavy and guttural, these booms will accent your most mysterious moments.

Pads: A range of feels and moods built into construction kits, that complement other music or work perfectly in isolation.

Production Elements: Glitchy digital effects that transition and enhance opening title sequences.

Rumble Whooshes: A set of rumble whooshes, perfect for transitioning out of different scenes/moments.

Stabs: Highlight your most shocking moments with organic and atonal instruments.

Ticks: Add tension and pace to your title sequence with a tick and a tock.

Whistles: Ethnic winds designed into unnerving and dynamic effects to fill background gaps under dialogue.

Singing Voices: Ethnic and exotic vocals add mystery to ancient history subjects, or alien landings.

Radio Voices: A suite of ‘sound-alike’ speeches/excerpts from tragic/mysterious events, processed to sound like authentic archive material.

  • Nuts and Bolts contains a huge array of DIY and construction themed sound effects featuring tools that are used by tradesmen such as hammers, saws, chisels and spanners, as well as several other miscellaneous tools such as brushes, tape, filler guns and of course, nuts, bolts and screws.

As well as hand-operated tools, Nuts and Bolts gives you several power tool sound effects being operated at different intensity levels. All of the sounds in this library have been recorded in context, meaning that they reflect how you would actually use the tools, not just how they sound in a controlled studio environment. We recorded close, distant and far recordings to capture natural reverb, giving you the maximum flexibility when searching for the right sound for your projects. We also recorded dropping effects for most of the tools.

Nuts and Bolts contains a total of 145 files (with lots of variations per file) including a designed folder of 10 sounds. This library gives you everything you need to create compelling DIY and construction soundscapes, ideal for use in a range of sound design applications including building sites, mechanics garages, joinery, metalwork workshops, painting, decorating, and demolition based scenes. All sounds have been recorded in 24bit 96khz, and have been carefully edited so that you can easily drop them into your project timeline and get working right away.

    Here are the included folders:

Power Tools: Lovely and disturbing drills, saws and electric sanders, perfect for becoming a noisy neighbor.

Hammers and Mallets: Hitting and dropping things as hard as possible makes a lovely sound, great for building trailer impacts.

Toolboxes: Heavy and metallic rummaging through a large toolbox.

Spanners: Turning bolts and spinning ratchets.

Pliers, Grips and Screws: Micro details like these can make or break your construction scenes.

Chisels: Hitting chisels, planing wood, and scraping.

Pencils, Brushes and Tape: Drawing, brushing, measuring.

  • Glass Bottle Percussion is a cinematic instrument built from 400+ sample recordings of antique glass bottles.

Our Audio Craftsmen meticulously edited, balanced and programmed 4 round robins and 3 velocity layers for each bottle, before integrating them into our Kontakt interface, giving Film Composers and Music Producers a suite of unique textures to use in their tracks. These sounds are perfect for trailer percussion loops, rhythmic tension, electronic music and film score cues with an exotic tonality.

The Main Articulations include: Drumstick Hits, Hand Taps, Bottle Top Hits, Drum Beater Hits, Nail Taps, Rolls, Scrapes and Wobbles.

But we didn’t stop there… As always with our Kontakt library releases, our in-house Composers designed an eclectic array of designed patches. Pads, choirs, drones, oil drums, screams, plucks and even karate chops give the user both tonal and atonal material to layer with their percussion, and build a haunting, glassy texture into their sound.

The 344 Audio Kontakt interface provides a variety of controls that encourage experimentation with the patches. The built in Arpeggiator is great for generating hundreds of percussion variations on the fly, while the Main View provides a set of parameters perfect for shaping the sounds your way.

Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher is required.
NOTE: This library does not run in the free ‘Kontakt Player’

  • Singing Slates is a unique cinematic Kontakt library built from sample recordings of a rare, custom built percussion instrument, perfect for adding an African or Tribal inspired melody into your music.

The handcrafted instrument we used was built from natural Welsh slate, by carefully tuning each piece and cutting it to size. Our Audio Craftsmen experimented with different types of beaters before recording to capture the most natural sound in this one of a kind instrument.

We then meticulously edited, balanced and programmed 13 different patches and integrated them into our Kontakt interface, giving Music Producers and Film Composers an extensive set of rare sounds. We have implemented 3 octaves of tuned slate sounds, which provides a positive, uplifting sound and can be used as a replacement for a Kalimba. This exotic instrument is perfect for creating cinematic scores, percussion loops and music of different genres.

As always with our Kontakt releases, our in-house composers designed 12 additional patches including kick drums, snares, kalimba, riser, creepy alarms, monster laughter and much more to add extra tonal and atonal elements to your music.

Our user-friendly Kontakt interface provides a variety of controls that encourage experimentation with the patches. The built in Arpeggiator and Step Sequencer are great for generating hundreds of percussion/lead variations on the fly. We also dedicated ADSR controls to shape your sounds while the main view provides various effects and controls to design unique sounds.
