From creating the breath of a behemoth, to the palpable aura of an ambiance, this is a plethora of contact mic goodness providing you with frequency-deep content for layering, embellishing, bolstering, and new sound creation.

Contact mics are delicate creatures. They can give you insights into the most excitable yet unheard facets of a soundscape, and then almost immediately get destroyed by the slightest of impacts. We’re just going to forget about how many incredible captures were thrown out of the running for this library due to such slight disruptions, and instead focus on the positive: this is a huge collection of super flexible, totally malleable sounds. One of our favorite libraries to make because it satisfied the inner tinkerer’s ear, Outward Inversion is our microscope applied to the aural world.

  • We are proud to present the next step in our impulse response research; Impulse Exploration 4. This time we have combined all the algorithms and processing techniques used in our previous IR-based products including FM, AM, time stretching, pitch-shifting, spectral-synthesis and multi-faceted manipulations, then added rhythmic elements, which result in tape echo-like sounds or metallic-comb textures.

All of these new impulses were optimized with a slightly soft-warm feel which perfectly fits the mix. It’s an entire world of brand new processing effects and possibilities which can be easily unraveled within any convolution engine, ready to be explored. We hope you enjoy the trip.

    Details:

    • 64 impulse response samples
    • 48khz / 24bit wav files
    • Compatible with any convolution-reverb software

  • KTM 250 Enduro Motorbike contains extensive exterior recordings of a 2 stroke 250cc motorcycle captured on a private dirt track in Yorkshire, England. With an amazing collection of driving away and towards, pass bys, extensive foley, extreme revving and stunt sounds in different perspectives, this library gives you that full throttle, pedal to the metal sound that you only get from an experienced rider on their own vehicle. Perfect for use in any project with dirt bikes or motorcycles, or for vehicle sound design.

Our Audio Craftsmen carefully planned and executed a recording session, capturing the essence of the motorbike with both a mono supercardiod mic and a stereo perspective mic for ultimate flexibility (these are provided as separate files). The resulting sound is full frequency, rich and textural, giving the impression of you being right there with the rider. All sounds are provided in 96kHz 24Bit and are perfect for complex vehicle design, being captured in the natural environment of the dirt track. As well as close up sounds, we also recorded some distant drive aways and approaches.

The library also includes sounds of a rider getting on the bike, putting on his helmet, moving the kickstand, pulling the vehicle, starting the engine, turning off the engine etc. and riding away. We made recordings with the rider following our instructions but also let him freestyle ride on some recordings to allow for the most natural and immersive sound effects.
All of the sounds were captured using a RODE NTG3 and a Sony PCM D-100, before being carefully edited and ready to be used straight away in your projects. They can be also be used to represent many different types of racing vehicle due to the nature of the engine being pushed to the limit during recording.

  • Feedback Loops brings you a versatile pack full of different loops. In this pack you will find a plethora of analogue and digital sounds. By routing the output to the input of an analogue synth, our Audio Craftsmen were able to design a huge range of volatile feedback loops that continuously evolve over time. Digital synths were also used to create more complex sounds. They can be used for scenes involving live equipment and electricity. Their unique character allows for more complex sound design.

Our Audio Craftsmen have developed 3 different categories to be used individually, or as a basis for further sonic manipulation.

Sounds have been separated into the following categories:

Analogue: These feedback loops were created using an analogue synth to create more natural sounds.

Digital: These loops sound more harsh in comparison to the analogue sounds, and therefore are more complex

Simple: These loops don’t have any recorded  manipulation so they can be used a low hums.

All sounds were recorded in 24Bit 96kHz, and have been tagged with extensive UCS metadata for ease of use.
