The Water Emerge/Submerge Bundle contains our three libraries which feature the sound of a huge variety of props emerging from and submerging into water.
Our Audio Craftsmen recorded props with an underwater-overwater microphone configuration comprising the Aquarian H2a Hydrophone and Sennheiser MKH50. Each library comes with both mic options available as separate files, providing limitless options for layering in your designs.
This massive collection of sounds is perfect for aquatic sound design and enhancing any of your water-themed sonic projects.
All sounds included were carefully captured and meticulously edited for maximum sonic quality, enabling to you drop each sample into your projects with no need for further enhancement or modification.
The entire bundle is delivered at 24Bit/192kHz, and tagged with extensive Metadata.
The Cinema sound effects library brings you the sounds of a quintessential cinema experience – from popcorn, snacks, beverages, fellow (even obnoxious) audience members and old-school creaky cinema seat!
Our Audio Craftsmen manipulated a variety of props and snacks to yield a huge number of useful sounds. The actions in these recordings cover moving popcorn around in a cardboard bucket, dropping nachos on a cinema carpet, pouring cola over ice into a cup, slurping it through a straw, rustling various plastic and foil snack wrappers, shushes, spectator reactions and comments, perspective coughs and whispers and much more!
Accent your film, TV or game scenes and build an authentic cinema, picture house or theatre environment with this Foley-based library!
Sounds have been separated into the following categories:
Cinema Seat: Close-mic’d and perspective recordings of the fabric and squeaks of a well-worn chair while someone sits down in it.
Cinema Steward Sweeping: In the after-movie quiet, hear the sound of an employee sweeping up popcorn and nachos with a broom on carpeted and hard surfaces.
Cola: Pouring soda into a plastic and paper cup, drinking, slurping, sipping, clinking and rattling ice, carbonated fizz, moving the straw, screwing a plastic cap – the fizzy drink essentials!
Popcorn: Eating, munching, shaking, crunching, sifting, dropping, digging, moving popcorn in a cinema-style cardboard bucket.
Nachos: As above but with nachos! Manipulated within a carboard tray, as one would find at the cinema.
Spectator Reactions: A multitude of lines and reactions one usually hears from fellow audiences, including gaps, coughs, and questions. Additional perspective whispers, murmurs and eating will form a fantastic foundation for building up any cinema or theatre scene.
Wrappers: The dreaded but essential crinkling of various paper and foil snack wrappers.
All sounds were recorded in 24Bit 96kHz, and have been tagged with extensive UCS metadata for ease of use.
Bird Whistles Vol. 3 explores the special mix of sounds produced by Acme’s quality bird call tools. Featuring crow, cuckoo, duck, curlew and owl performances, this library offers an expressive range of vocalisations, calls, birdsongs, glissandos, hoots, caws, trills and even yawns!
These sounds are ideal for cartoons, animated or humorous productions requiring energy and character. Or, calls can be used in more realistic sonic settings and adding a touch of nature to backgrounds. The sounds also lend themselves to further processing, yielding effective, whacky designs.
All sounds are delivered in 24Bit 192kHz format allowing further sonic manipulation, and have been meticulously edited and tagged with extensive UCS compliant metadata for ease of use.
UK Parks & Petting Zoos Vol. 1 features a variety of sounds from the animals and environments in rural North-East, England.
Included are recordings of: grunting pigs; clucking hens; cawing crows; cheeping blackbirds and more! The candid quality of these sounds makes them perfect for injecting a sense of rusticism into your Film, TV and Game projects.
All sounds are delivered in 24Bit 96kHz format allowing for further sonic manipulation and have been meticulously edited and tagged with extensive UCS compliant metadata for ease of use.
The Foley Vault is home to an ever-growing collection of original Foley recordings.
Each library was captured by professional Foley Artists on our in-house Foley Stage using a Sennheiser MKH50 microphone.
These sounds were originally performed for a variety of feature and short film projects. They have now been compiled and released for you to edit and implement into your own film, game and television productions.
3 mic perspectives give full coverage on an antique typewriter in good working condition. The typewriter had a loose front plate and we clacked, hit and dropped it for a wide range of cool typewritery sounds. The Kontakt instrument presets requires the full version of NI Kontakt 4.2.3 or later.
Hurricane Winds features some of the biggest and most violent winds hitting the Danish coastal area in many, many years. Both both interior and exterior recordings are included.

This Hard Drive SFX library delivers the sounds of severely mistreated hard drives. We hit hard drives with hammers, drilled holes in them, bent them and inserted objects into them before turning them on. Power ups, shut downs, grinding, screeching, whines, and rattling are just a few of the sounds you’ll find here. Great source material for sound design and heavy processing.
This sound effects library is a collection of field recordings of freight trains in the San Francisco Bay area with a route along San Jose, Richmond, Oakland, Emeryville, and San Francisco. All the recorded freight trains were old, rusty, and covered in graffiti. When in motion they come alive with very unique sounds such as metal on metal scrapes, heavy thuds, clunking, and screeching noises. All trains were recorded within 15-20 feet from the mic setup of Schoeps 2 CMC 6 U mic bodies, a Schoeps MK4 and MK8 mic capsules, and a Rycote windjammer fed into a Sound Devices 744T.
'Fans Light Machines' is a collection of different mechanical fan and electrical sounds recorded over the last 10 years. This collection provides unique, hard-to-access source material in high-quality, with a large amount of takes for creative sound design. We worked hard to capture as much useful material as we could when we had full access to the rides. All sounds were recorded in Särkänniemi amusement park, Tampere, Finland. Also available in the special Complete Amusement Park Sound Bundle.
Get the sounds of crazy accelerations, drifting, wild breaking, screechy tires and more – captured from several different perspectives on a race track.
Small trickles, to gentle streams, raging rivers, waterfalls, and the Pacific Ocean (in Hawaii and Oregon). Many are quite long and are a perfect long background to a water-related section of your film or project.
• In Pacific Northwest: Storm Waves, get an expansive collection of storm waves from Rialto Beach, a driftwood filled shoreline of Olympic National Park. Hear massive 25 ft swells breaking and sea foam froth sloshing on rounded pebbles. Hear violent slurping as water is sucked out after each massive wave. Hear wave resonance tuned to perfection by driftwood logs a millennium old. Hear distant storm buoys droning their ominous warning and bats circling with ultrasonic clicks. Hear a coastline gradually eroded by Pacific waves. A place where massive spruce stumps are still rooted in the beach, desperately holding to the earth as the soil is stripped from their roots. Press a contact mic to one of those stumps and hear the heartbeat of the ocean. The vibrations from crashing waves move through rocks and roots to create stunning resonances in the wood! I hope this library gives you a chance to hear the ocean in a way you haven’t heard it before. Enjoy listening to a large collection of storm waves from one of the most iconic beaches in North America.

Shamanic Drums is a cinematic instrument built from 360+ sample recordings of hand drums and voices.
Our Audio Craftsmen edited, balanced and programmed 4 round robins and 3 velocity layers for each articulation before integrating them into our Kontakt interface, giving Film Composers and Music Producers an extensive set of unique percussion to use in their tracks. These sounds are perfect for trailer percussion loops, rhythmic tension, electronic music and cinematic scores. We also included performed loops that can add interesting ethnic layers to your music.
To provide some tonal layers, we recorded tribal vocal performances to give extra texture to your tracks. After the implementation, our talented in-house Composers designed 11 extra patches, which include shamanic choirs, melodic tones, different variations of electronic sounds, chords, trailer hits and even trickling, echoey drums.
Our user-friendly Kontakt interface provides a variety of controls that encourage experimentation within the patches. The built in Arpeggiator and Step Sequencer are great for generating hundreds of percussion variations in seconds. We have also added a Chord function in our designed patches where you can choose different scales, key and chord shapes while the Main View provides a set of parameters perfect for sculpting the sounds your way.
Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher is required.
NOTE: This library does not run in the free ‘Kontakt Player’.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
