This is a collection of various Northern California beaches recorded binaurally with a Neumann KU 100 Dummy Head. Recorded at Black Sand Beach, Stinson Beach, Muir Beach, and Bodega Bay.
The Mopeds SFX library delivers the sounds of no less than 7 different mopeds. Created in a collaboration between Sonicsalute, sound designer Rune Palving (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, 1864, and Tordenskjold), and sound designer Peter Albrechtsen (Antichrist, The Queen of Versailles, and The Idealist).
The included mopeds range from new and non-modified models, to many characteristic-sounding (old and wrecked) models – as well as one heavily-tuned moped.

Get the sounds of an old suitcase – covering everything from opening and closing sounds, packing and handling, to buckle/lock sounds, squeaks, creaks and rumbles. Features numerous takes/variations per file.
Small trickles, to gentle streams, raging rivers, waterfalls, and the Pacific Ocean (in Hawaii and Oregon). Many are quite long and are a perfect long background to a water-related section of your film or project.
We are proud to present the next step in our impulse response research; Impulse Exploration 4. This time we have combined all the algorithms and processing techniques used in our previous IR-based products including FM, AM, time stretching, pitch-shifting, spectral-synthesis and multi-faceted manipulations, then added rhythmic elements, which result in tape echo-like sounds or metallic-comb textures.
All of these new impulses were optimized with a slightly soft-warm feel which perfectly fits the mix. It’s an entire world of brand new processing effects and possibilities which can be easily unraveled within any convolution engine, ready to be explored. We hope you enjoy the trip.

Enjoy hearing rain recorded on several surfaces from a household perspective in San Francisco. Concrete, dirt, plastic, etc. Loops included as well. Also, heavy and light creeks recorded from several distances in Lake Tahoe.
Equipment used for these recordings was a Sound Devices 702 recorder along with DPA 4006 and Sennheiser 418s microphones.
•In Bowed Cactus, get a visceral collection of bowed and plucked cactus from the deserts of the American Southwest. Take a violin bow to a cactus spine and hear guttural screeches with intense, physical energy. Hear plucked needles popping in rich organic granulation. Hear thick, bowed spines growling like supernatural animals and single needles stuttering with real grit.
•This library offers you an extensive collection of sounds from a unique organic sound source. Cactus sounds are incredibly soft and intimate in real life, but when recorded from two inches they morph into otherworldly creatures brimming with ultrasonic energy. This library contains a wide variety of modern day food packaging and wrappers. It is a variation of opening, closing, handling and tearing. This library is perfect for those close up shots of food products that require that very specific material to make it authentic. The library was recorded using the Avedis MA5 Pre, along with the Shoeps CMIT5 microphone at 96Khz 24Bit.
The Dark Woods Ambience sound effects library contains sounds of natural night ambiences, all recorded in the woods in Southwest Florida, USA (under trees, woods, etc). All 68 ready to use and loop-able stereo wave files were captured in 24 Bit, 96 kHz stereo (each in 3 or 5 minutes long). There are sounds of birds, a Coyote, frogs, insects, wild pigs, waves/water splashes from fish/wind, thunders, etc (check out the file names). See if you can identify what the two creatures are that approached my microphone. One of the creatures dragged the microphone fur a few feet away!

Abstract Aqua sound effects library is a result of different field recording sessions with more experimental approach.
It features 208 192kHz WAV files, 92 designed sound effects and 116 RAW recordings. It was recorded with a Sound Devices 702 and Sony PCM-D100, Sennheiser MKH 8040 microphones, Rode NTG3 and Aquarian Audio hydrophone. Total length of the files is 334 minutes.
The designed files have more abstract feel to it, so you’ll find aqua whooshes, different underwater sounds and big sounding waves. The RAW files includes different wave recordings from the Baltic Sea, water foley sounds and effects recorded with hydrophones. You can find more informations in the library sound list.
Get the sound of the Baltic Sea with this sound effect library recorded in Poland, featuring both location sound and additional foley, including walking, running in the water and swimming. The Baltic Sea is located in Northern Europe, and is surrounded by Scandinavia, Finland, the Baltic countries, and the North European Plain.

A small device meant to be hung flat on the wall, the balls will swing and strike the strings if the ground begins to move.
This box was shaken, plucked, strummed, performed and ebowed to produce a beautiful palette of acoustic string textures.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
