In this bundle you will receive three libraries full of dark, glitchy and ambient textures. 'Glitch & Noise' brings abstract and interesting tones to your sound palette. 'Twelve Tones' has detailed industrial hums for your spaceship interiors. 'Sphere' has dark atmospheres made from bowing a metal bin, which were then processed and mangled using Twisted Tools Slayer. Whether your project is a sci-fi soundscape or a shredded atmosphere, this bundle has something for everyone.
Need the sound of objects being pushed, pulled, dragged, moved – or perhaps sliding and scraping over different surfaces? The Drag & Slide SFX library gets you exactly that: More than 500 dragging and sliding sounds that are ready to be used as they are – or for intense sound design.
Bags, Barrels, Blades, Bottles, Cabinets, Chairs, Coat-hangers, Crates, Dining Tables, Fridges, Frying Pans, Iron Boxes, Iron Tables, Metal Cans, Metal Chairs, Nightstands, Pallets, Paper bags, Plates, Racks, Rakes, Shoes, Shovels, Sledgehammers, Spray cans, Stones/rocks, Toolboxes, Vacuum Cleaners, Various heavy objects, Wooden Boards – and more!
All sounds were cleaned, edited and filled with BWF-Metadata for instant use in your projects – and many of the files in the pack contain more than one sound. Recorded with Sound Devices 744T, 788T, Sennheiser MKH8050, Ambient ATE208, Sony PCM-D100
Ambient recordings from various industrial sites, including the port of Aarhus with its bulk cargo and container terminals. Most of the sounds are quite generic though, and could be used in many different contexts. Some recordings are teeming with activity, while others feature deserted, yet humming and droning, industrial landscapes. Lots of HVAC with fans and pumps. Containers are moved, gravel is unloaded, engines are running. Very little wind, and hardly any legible speech. A few of the sounds are cut as seamless loops.
Most of the sounds were originally recorded with a Sennheiser MKH60/30 M/S setup. A few sounds appear in both mono and stereo versions, where the stereo version are X/Y derived from the M/S source files and the mono versions are simply the Mid channel. I did this, because most people seem to prefer X/Y files for post-work, rather than M/S – but a down-mix of X/Y to mono would be inferior to using the original Mid-mic signal. 4 of the sounds were recorded with a quasi binaural setup . All sounds were captured in Aarhus, Denmark.
Odd is a small collection of effects originally created for a project revolving around quick, organic glitched visuals. The library is divided into four categories – Reverses, Texture and Noise, Synthesized Elements and general Oddities. Odd is perfect for adding a bit of strange or weird to your design. Something like a 'what was that?' library. Go nuts.
This beauty was built in 1943 and is equipped with a 130 hp, 4-cylinder Gipsy Major 1F engine. The recordings consist of five channels including two engine channels, one exhaust channel and two distance channels recorded from different directions. It contains startups, stops, the engine running at different RPMs, and a surround fly-by at the very end. Enjoy!
Need the sounds of small motors? The Motors SFX library is packed with recordings of gadgets, which can add some cool and unusual textured motor sounds to your sound design process.
Sounds include antique, vintage and just plain old machines and motors, many of them half broken and busted, small plastic wind up toys, newer motors, tools, calculators, a 198x fax machine, a screaming Powerball, a massage tripod, and toys running, turning, getting stuck, lifting, driving and screwing.
As a very unique set of tracks in this pack, one of the oldest Danish cars was recorded and put in here.
The Hammel car was build back in 1888. It has 2.5 horsepower, and a top speed of 9 kilometers an hour. The startup process is done with matches and a lot of patience. Once this beast starts up, the sound is among one of the most funny and weird sounds ever. The library has a dual perspective recording of this car, and covers the entire startup, going (idling), and shutting down sequence.
HARMONICS is a new designed sound collection that explores the inner beauty of resonating metals to create an extensive set of inspiring sonic material for sound design and film scoring – proudly presented by SampleTraxx.
Metal happens to have the right combination of speed of sound and decay. Different metal shapes produce a broad spectrum of soundscapes and tones.
HARMONICS investigates this hidden magic by designing and layering these unique timbres.
The result is an extensive set of designed evolving textures and designed metal elements which are great to create sound cues in minutes, metal hits, passby-reverses and evolving drones.
The nature of this soundpack doesn’t call for compressor or maximizer. Close attention has been paid to preserve the original dynamic excursion of each sound and fully enjoy its natural vibration and evolution.
Having a wide dynamic range guarantees more freedom in layering and arranging different elements to create endless variations.
The sonic material contained in the pack is all presented in a designed fashion and different levels of design are provided: from simple elements to evolving multilayered soundscapes and textures, all based on metallic sources. No external sounds apart from metals have been added to the mix.
86 Designed Textures and Elements (dur. up to 1’10″)
37 Hits (Hi and Low Designed Hits)
26 Pass-by Reverse
9 Tibetan Bowl (Raw Recordings)
9 Kontakt Instruments -Kontakt 5.5 full required for these (free player not supported)
Note: the WAV themselves files can be used without Kontakt
A collection of various sound effects including forest and seaside jungle ambiences, beautiful bird songs, frogs croaking, night ambiences with crickets, rivers, countryside ambiences and campfire.
‘Wave Break Vol.2’ is a compilation of 50 recordings (286 minutes total) capturing the natural sounds of the sea breaking on land. This library follows on from ‘Wave Break Vol.1’ but is uniquely different as it only features stereo recordings from Taveuni, a tropical Island in Fiji.
The “Just Stones” sound effects library brings you a huge amount of sounds created with stones. Ranging from impacts, shatters and rolling stones to scrapes, slides, water hits and tickling fine derbis.
All sorted in sub folders and with embedded metadata, and recorded with Sennheiser MKH8050 + MKH30 mix setup in 24Bit and 192kHz, cleaned, edited and downmixed to stereo. Since many of the sounds are quite mono-ish you can download the complete library also as mono files from only the MKH8050 mic.
Clock's Volume 2 is the sequel to the small but unique sound library – not recorded from traditional clocks but of edited sounds that tick tock.
‘Clocks Volume 2’ by Badlands Sound features 30+ tick tock sounds perfect for your projects in high-quality 96k / 24 bit. Sounds include metal and plastic clocks as well as metronomes and grandfather clocks.
We believe these sounds will greatly benefit sound editors and sound designers allowing them to add these files to their projects quickly.
All these sounds are one minute long loopable allowing you to save time editing.
Ambiences from Thailand is a collection of sounds from busy and exotic Bangkok, idyllic Railay Beach and Khao Sok with oldest evergreen rainforest in the world. You will hear tourists’ excitement, local Thais conversations, traditional gongs at world-famous temples and cricket chirps and other insects in middle of the night. Additionally you will find soundscapes generated by Asian means of transportation: boats, tuk tuks, buses and planes.
Sounds have been captured in Bangkok, Ao Namm, Railay Beach, Phra Nang Beach, Krabi, Khao Sok and Surat Thani.
The GUNS series gets you the sounds of up to 19 weapons, captured at 24 bit, 192 kHz. For the series, we've aimed at capturing every possible sound of those weapons, including but limited to, falling bullets, bullet insertions, bullet ejection, refill insertion, refill ejection, reload, safety fuse toggle, no-ammo trigger and shots. Sounds are not metatagged but arranged, indexed and easy to find in order for you to have an easier workflow. Full sound lists are available below. The library is available in 3 installments + a bundle that gets you everything at a special price.

• In Pacific Northwest: Storm Waves, get an expansive collection of storm waves from Rialto Beach, a driftwood filled shoreline of Olympic National Park. Hear massive 25 ft swells breaking and sea foam froth sloshing on rounded pebbles. Hear violent slurping as water is sucked out after each massive wave. Hear wave resonance tuned to perfection by driftwood logs a millennium old. Hear distant storm buoys droning their ominous warning and bats circling with ultrasonic clicks. Hear a coastline gradually eroded by Pacific waves. A place where massive spruce stumps are still rooted in the beach, desperately holding to the earth as the soil is stripped from their roots. Press a contact mic to one of those stumps and hear the heartbeat of the ocean. The vibrations from crashing waves move through rocks and roots to create stunning resonances in the wood! I hope this library gives you a chance to hear the ocean in a way you haven't heard it before. Enjoy listening to a large collection of storm waves from one of the most iconic beaches in North America.

We had the chance to make the crossing of the North Atlantic Ocean on a cargo ship container (ATLANTIC STAR).
We boarded in the Antwerp industrial port in Belgium, sailed the English Channel, and then stopped at Liverpool’s industrial port.
Then we crossed the North Atlantic Ocean to reach Halifax, Canada. This trip took us 10 days, 10 days of sounds recording.
Through this trip, we were able to access places that normally are closed to the public: industrial ports, and a container ship.

‘Water Streams One’ is the first library in my ‘Water Streams’ series that explores the bubbly and roaring sounds of rapids, rivers and streams found all around Finland.
The library consists of 19 unique sounding locations ranging from large rapids to tiny streams. Most of the content was recorded in quiet Northern Finland locations and I even visited the Oulanka National Park to record its famous large roaring rapids.
Due to challenging and hard to access locations I decided to record the library with portable Sony handheld recorders utilizing ORTF and XY techniques.
The average length of each file is between 2-4 minutes so you can easily create your own loops for video games and other media.
You get the sounds in two formats: 96 KHz 24 bit and in 44.1 KHz 16 bit, for more convenient ways of utilizing the sounds in games and other media.
It's raining today, wherever you are, in the house or in the garden, you will be surrounded by bad weather.
“Sci-Fi Transitions” is a sound pack dedicated to the futuristic or unidentifiable transitions that are designed to sound great on their own or as a building material for other sound effects. The collection includes pass-bys, whooshes, and other actions in a varying degree of complexity – all ready for panning and Doppler effects.

Ah, destruction sound effects! We tried to feature every aspect of devastation in our brand-new SFX library DESTRUCTION which will be the baton for your own destructive masterpiece. Start with a small car crash where crushed metal meets hard rock. Imagine the fateful sound of a stressed glass pane right before it bursts into pieces. Think bigger – like a wooden cabin that gets smashed under a falling tree. Think of collapsing skyscrapers that crumble into dust. A whole ship moaning and groaning before it bursts and breaks into pieces – your possibilities are countless.
With DESTRUCTION, we deliver you the perfect toolkit to easily design those kind of scenarios. The CONSTRUCTION KIT holds more than 7 GB high-quality source recordings and the DESIGNED version comes with 300+ pre-designed, “ready to use” sounds. The BUNDLE not only allows full flexibility, but also gives you a benefit in price. Leave your audience gasping for air and take them right into the center of DESTRUCTION.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!

I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
