Sound Effects

  • The Blacksmith Sound Effects Library gets you the ringing, banging sounds of hammer impacts on an anvil, as well as the sounds of a large blacksmith's bellows.

  • Motion Texures is a broad library with a narrow purpose: to draw sonic lines and create gently moving sonic textures.

The concept is that consistent sound of friction will translate well to visual design elements that have CG and text movement on screen.

We recorded the friction sounds of dozens of small to medium sized props in constant motion. Major categories include metal, plastic, cloth, wood and skin. Some of the most interesting sounds came from the props that had small cavities such as the spray can lid and the water bottle. The constant changing of the cavity state relative to the mics creates strange vocal sounds.

Once the sounds were recorded we employed a proprietary smoothing process as a second pass to the sounds and provided them in addition to the original textures. These smoothed out sounds still have the organic quality of the original recordings, but with far fewer transient events. The end result are sounds that feel straighter than the more circular sounding original textures.

Inside of the Kontakt instruments we stacked layers and effects to create a broad base of deep and interesting textures. Many of the Kontakt presets mangle the sounds far beyond recognition of the original recordings.

    Motion Textures features

    • 92 unique original samples
    • 92 smoothed samples
    • 25 Kontakt unlocked design .nki files
    • 22 Kontakt unlocked raw texture .nki files
    • .nki files require full version of NI Kontakt 4 or higher

Note: Can be used without Kontakt too!
All Kontakt instrument libraries include fully unlocked and accessible metadata tagged .wav files. You don't need any version of Kontakt to use these files as a standalone sample library.

Sounds include antique, vintage and just plain old machines and motors, many of them half broken and busted, small plastic wind up toys, newer motors, tools, calculators, a 198x fax machine, a screaming Powerball, a massage tripod, and toys running, turning, getting stuck, lifting, driving and screwing.
As a very unique set of tracks in this pack, one of the oldest Danish cars was recorded and put in here.

The Hammel car was build back in 1888. It has 2.5 horsepower, and a top speed of 9 kilometers an hour. The startup process is done with matches and a lot of patience. Once this beast starts up, the sound is among one of the most funny and weird sounds ever. • Screaming is a collection of different types of scream sounds covering everything from funny anime to disturbing horror screams. Unlike other libraries out there, we have recorded a wide variety of male and female screams in specific situations which include: anime screams, warrior screams, screams of a football fan, falling from height, horror screams, screams inside a tunnel and much, much more.

Our Audio Craftsmen recorded performances of our in-house voice artists from various distances. We have captured screams close-miked, from distant perspectives and even shouts and screams from a tunnel which has a haunting natural reverb. These samples were then meticulously edited, meta tagged and made UCS compliant so you can find your desired sounds and drag them straight to your projects effortlessly. All the files are available unprocessed in 192 kHz which gives you a lot of room for sonic manipulation if required (you can pitch and time stretch to create monster voices or high pitched creatures.)

We have used a variety of male and female voices and captured different variations covering almost all types of screams needed for your projects, which saves you from hiring a voice actor.
This library is a great addition to your audio collection and perfect for your anime, video games, films, and TV productions.

  • Foley Sound Effects Cinema Experience Play Track 377 sounds included, 46 mins total $46

The Cinema sound effects library brings you the sounds of a quintessential cinema experience – from popcorn, snacks, beverages, fellow (even obnoxious) audience members and old-school creaky cinema seat!

Our Audio Craftsmen manipulated a variety of props and snacks to yield a huge number of useful sounds. The actions in these recordings cover moving popcorn around in a cardboard bucket, dropping nachos on a cinema carpet, pouring cola over ice into a cup, slurping it through a straw, rustling various plastic and foil snack wrappers, shushes, spectator reactions and comments, perspective coughs and whispers and much more!

Accent your film, TV or game scenes and build an authentic cinema, picture house or theatre environment with this Foley-based library!

Sounds have been separated into the following categories:

Cinema Seat: Close-mic’d and perspective recordings of the fabric and squeaks of a well-worn chair while someone sits down in it.

Cinema Steward Sweeping: In the after-movie quiet, hear the sound of an employee sweeping up popcorn and nachos with a broom on carpeted and hard surfaces.

Cola: Pouring soda into a plastic and paper cup, drinking, slurping, sipping, clinking and rattling ice, carbonated fizz, moving the straw, screwing a plastic cap – the fizzy drink essentials!

Popcorn: Eating, munching, shaking, crunching, sifting, dropping, digging, moving popcorn in a cinema-style cardboard bucket.

Nachos: As above but with nachos! Manipulated within a carboard tray, as one would find at the cinema.

Spectator Reactions: A multitude of lines and reactions one usually hears from fellow audiences, including gaps, coughs, and questions. Additional perspective whispers, murmurs and eating will form a fantastic foundation for building up any cinema or theatre scene.

Wrappers: The dreaded but essential crinkling of various paper and foil snack wrappers.
