    Audio clipping (or saturation) is the distortion that occurs when you set your input signal level far too high. It happens when your analog or digital recording equipment reaches its limits and your system cannot handle the dynamics of your input signal.  Clipping results from over-saturation and usually sounds like a harsh distortion.   • Welcome to the Essential Stadium Crowd sound effects library: All the crowds, back room ambience and practice tracks were recorded at the Phoenix Cardinals Stadium, pre/during and post game. I had the opportunity to have a press pass and free reign in the stadium.

    Some of the recordings were recorded way up high in the upper bleachers, and some behind the end zones, as well as other interesting places. There are significant differences in the locations and the ‘thickness’ of the crowds. With this library, you should be able to fill out any sort of large sports arena ambience, as I’ve edited out most of the PA Announcer to give more of a general stadium feel that could be anywhere, and any major arena sporting event. The PA that is left in can easily be edited out.

    All the sounds were mastered in Pro Tools, with very transparent processing going on. My signal chain consisted of a C4 Compressor, DMG Equality EQ, and a L1 Limiter. All reverb is natural.

The Essential New York City library includes recordings from locations like Manhattan, Coney Island, Brooklyn and more – and it packs recordings like ambiences from Times Square, Playgrounds, Central Park, the Subway, Sidewalks and streets around NYC and more. More than 2 hours of recordings are included.

  • In this sound pack I’ve included an in-depth selection of active ambiences. This library is focused more on the natural ambience of both busy main streets and calmer side streets.

    Most sounds were captured below 110 St. and prominently in the Lower East and West Village. There are a multitude of police and firetruck sirens at varying distances as well as some not so common areas like the Intrepid Pier and the Hudson River Heliport ambience.

    I’ve also included some extensive subway rides. All boring bits were edited out for a strong final product. There are multiple train rides with various levels of walla and PA announcements.

    One thing that is very common in NYC during the summer months are the rain and thunderstorms. I’ve included a number of wet traffic, distant thunderstorms and heavy rains.

    All in all this is a good representation of New York's streets and subway systems.

  • This library was compiled over the course of 5 years with 3 different recorders (Sony D50, Zoom H6 and Roland R07). The Roland was used in stealthy situations because of its size.

    This collection of tracks depict the sound of traffic, both near and far, with the (seemingly) constant hum of the Los Angeles helicopter. There are plenty of those in these recordings, as well as a good variety of locations and situations. I believe this library represents the actual sound of Los Angeles in a general sense.

    All tracks have been mastered in Pro Tools, with light compression to even out the bumps, and use EQ here and there to hide the rumble and calm the hiss. All bumps and unwanted noise has been edited out for the best result.

    I hope you appreciate this collection, as I’ve used all the tracks myself. In most cases, these sounds have been bolstered and mastered for a fuller, more interesting sound.

    All tracks have full metadata implemented for a clear and concise explanation of each track.

  • It’s my pleasure to introduce you to this dense library of accomplished and cacophonous sounds. This is a dramatic and horror filled library, teaming with tension and ghostly ambience, stingers and hits.
    Most of these sounds have been used in film and television in one form or another. They’re more than just “designy sounds”.

    These are intended to create a score of tension that can help you build a scene to it’s full potential. These sounds add movement within the soundtrack, especially with the drones. When creating sounds, I like to inject some sort of movement within the sound itself, so that it’s never stagnant or ‘still’ sounding.

    So if you’re looking to notch your project up a level with dark, moody and expressive design, this is a good bet for you. Hopefully you’ll have as much inspiration as I did when creating these.

  • Recorded throughout 4 parts of Italy (Rome, Naples, Positano, Tivoli Gardens), the 3 hours and 45min of material gives you a large variety of sound to choose from.

    Every city/town has signature sound of its own. The constant hum or “Din” of a city varies. Rome is known for its many scooters, motorbikes, and church-bells.
    This library is made up of various location Dins, and small side-street ambience.

    Of the 60 tracks, a majority are over 4 mins. and some are 5 min in length. There are sections that rival others, but overall there is a large selection to pick and choose from.
    Of course I've edited out all the rough areas, and material of no consequence (the boring bits) to tighten and heighten the clips, and make them sound interesting.

    The processing used is minimal. DMG EQ, C4 Compressor, and a little noise reduction in some cases. Mostly very transparent processing. There may be a moment or two where there is a wind bluster, but because of the nature of the track, I chose to minimize instead of chop out.
