Very in-depth recordings of this 4-wheel drive with an inline six cylinder engine.
The first part consists of eight onboard microphones, two interior, three engine and three on exhausts. The exhaust on this vehicle has been modified and has a really rich sound. The second part is 8 channels of external microphones in surround. The total recording time is about 48 minutes (internal 42 min, external 6min).
It consists of real traffic driving, startup, idle, blips, shutdown, steady rpm:s without gear, steady rpms driving with load, accel/deceleration ramps at different speeds and even horn, switches and doorslams recorded.
Pro Tools session and cue list included. The recording length is 47 min 54 s.

Get the sound of sheer power with the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 litre engine, V8 with magnaflow sound library. It features 85 files recorded with a Sound Devices 702, Zoom F8, Sony PCM-M10, two Senneheisers MKH 8040, two DPA 4061 microphones and Rode NTG3. The engine was recorded under the hood with two microphones, on the exhaust and inside drivers cabin at the same time.
Exterior passes were also recorded with different gear and different perspectives. The mono file was recorded with 8040 following a car all the time, one static perspective with 8040 and stereo with Sony PCM-M10. Additional foley files were captured with one 8040.
This library includes sound effects like regular driving, accelerations, engine on/idle/off, rpm ramps, reverse, slow and fast pass-by, stopping and driving away sounds and more.

The Jeep Wrangler sound fx library features 257 clips of an American 1991 YJ model jeep. It collects 15.23 gigabytes of recordings of a 500+ horsepower stroked v6 4.6 litre, twin-turbo engine converted for E85 ethanol fuel.
Seven exterior perspectives depict the jeep travelling at fast, medium, and slow speeds on straightaways and around corners departing, passing, and approaching. These 17 channels of audio present the Wrangler at a variety of positions and distances. Eleven perspectives from 12 channels of microphones mounted onboard the car capture exhaust, intake, engine, and interior sound fx of driving with steady RPMs, gearshifts, and ramps. The 15 takes also include idles, steadies in neutral, blips, and performed sound fx such as gearstick, fuel pump and doors.

Junk Cars is a collection of on-board multi-channel recordings of old, barely-functioning European cars. The first car in the library is a 1995 Opel/Vauxhall/Holden Astra with a 1.6 liter Petrol engine, a broken exhaust and in a very sorry state. It wasn’t roadworthy when I found it, but with a little help from a car mechanic we managed to get it on the road.

Here’s 144 minutes of composite German construction site ambiences. It comes with all the hammering, sawing, digging, drilling, some yelling workers, squeaky crawling excavators and loud jack hammers you’d expect. All edited, cleaned, mixed and packed with metadata.
The ambiences were mostly recorded with a Sound Devices 744t and a Sound Devices Mix-PreD through a Beyerdynamic MC930 ORTF setup and RODE NTG-4 microphone, and some ambiences were tweaked to seamless loop from end to start. All sounds were recorded over weeks at several different construction site around Stuttgart / Germany – from very small sites recorded close up to huge construction sites with lots different typical working sounds.
