Encore! Concert Audiences is packed with vibrant cheers, applause, and walla to bring your concert crowds to life. The variation from small lounges to outdoor music festivals allows you to cover a multitude of projects. We wanted to put you “in the audience” with this library, so we got nice and close to all the emotion emanating from these crowds. In addition, there are plenty of distant perspectives to give you more general sounding crowds.
The post process:
Great care was put into the editing phase of this library in order to maintain clean heads and tails for many of the recordings. We seamlessly sewed together multiple takes for those perfect sounding effects. We also took the time to edit out any and all extraneous noises such as stage sounds, distracting audience voices, offensive nearby claps, and more. In order to maintain the greatest dynamics, these sounds were all mastered at theatrical monitoring levels, giving you the most options in post. Metadata has been thoroughly fleshed out for this library which makes searching for these sounds quick and easy, allowing more time for your creative process.
Gear Used: Sennheiser MKH30/40 in MS setup, Sound Devices 744t, Sony PCM-D50, Tascam DR-100 mkII
Endless Drones is a diverse set of 100 multi-layered atmospheres and mangled drone textures, that will help you portray an unsettling sense of mood or establish a unique sense of location in your projects.
All sounds are formed from field recordings and organic sound elements that are spliced, mixed and merged with synthetic tones and low-end rumble sources, using extensive processing and advanced production techniques.
Some of the most interesting real-world elements that have been used are city hum noises, roaring factory ambiences, radio statics, cicadas, water flows, howling winds, spooky waves of laughter, horse galloping sounds, nasty metal scrapes, and slides, tape wrapping sounds around the gears and rainscapes.
This library gets you 130 minutes of stereo recordings from an intense off-road motorcycle racing event, captured on a late autumn day with ideal weather conditions.

The library features sounds such as race starts, test laps, roaring passbys, struggling engines as the bikes go up and down the hills, single bikes and groups + lots more sounds from the event.

The sound profile of a household espresso machine.
Various foley movement as well as every mechanical process this machine has to offer.
All recorded using the Sound Devices Mix-Pre 6, Sennheiser MKH 416 and Sennheiser MKH 8020 at 24bit/96khz.
This sound library has a variety of sounds and activities that come from most household bathrooms. It includes sounds of showers, sinks filling and draining, medicine cabinet items, bottles of pills, brushing hair, spraying hairspray, clipping nails, toilets flushing, lotion, cloth towels, washing hands, etc. Each track is a 2-channel stereo recording from a Mid-side mic setup from two Schoeps CMC 5Us with MK8 and MK4 capsules fed into a Sound Devices 744T.

Great if you need to cover all your bodyfall needs with one library or to add variety to your arsenal (I know you are sick of those Sound Ideas falls).
Recorded with a Sennheiser MKH 416 @ 24 Bits and 96 KHz.
Welcome to the Essential Stadium Crowd sound effects library: All the crowds, back room ambience and practice tracks were recorded at the Phoenix Cardinals Stadium, pre/during and post game. I had the opportunity to have a press pass and free reign in the stadium.
Some of the recordings were recorded way up high in the upper bleachers, and some behind the end zones, as well as other interesting places. There are significant differences in the locations and the ‘thickness’ of the crowds. With this library, you should be able to fill out any sort of large sports arena ambience, as I’ve edited out most of the PA Announcer to give more of a general stadium feel that could be anywhere, and any major arena sporting event. The PA that is left in can easily be edited out.
All the sounds were mastered in Pro Tools, with very transparent processing going on. My signal chain consisted of a C4 Compressor, DMG Equality EQ, and a L1 Limiter. All reverb is natural.
This sound effects library encompasses basics kitchen elements, objects and actions
• Veggies chopping, slicing, manipulating
• various appliances such as microwave, oven, fridge, toaster
• pan and pots actions and frying sizzle
• various container manipulations, open and close
• water, juice, wine, utensils, dishes, cereals grains, paper, cardboard, plastic
Get the sounds of New York City, as captured by sound designer and recordist Rusty Dunn. The Essential New York City library includes recordings from locations like Manhattan, Coney Island, Brooklyn and more – and it packs recordings like ambiences from Times Square, Playgrounds, Central Park, the Subway, Sidewalks and streets around NYC and more. More than 2 hours of recordings are included.
In this sound pack I’ve included an in-depth selection of active ambiences. This library is focused more on the natural ambience of both busy main streets and calmer side streets.
Most sounds were captured below 110 St. and prominently in the Lower East and West Village. There are a multitude of police and firetruck sirens at varying distances as well as some not so common areas like the Intrepid Pier and the Hudson River Heliport ambience.
I’ve also included some extensive subway rides. All boring bits were edited out for a strong final product. There are multiple train rides with various levels of walla and PA announcements.
One thing that is very common in NYC during the summer months are the rain and thunderstorms. I’ve included a number of wet traffic, distant thunderstorms and heavy rains.
All in all this is a good representation of New York's streets and subway systems.
With A Sound Effect, Asbjoern has created a web site where our international community can browse, learn, and share the vast fruits of our labors. Together we are accelerating the very real potential power of sound design as a recognized art form.
A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.
A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
A Sound Effect is a great resource for keeping up on what's out there in the SFX library world. The site is well organized and it's easy to find stuff.
I love the behind the scenes articles - and the ability to purchase directly through the site is super convenient. The process is very straight forward and painless. I recommend it all the time.
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
