    Like many of you, we found ourselves overwhelmed with the sheer volume of different wind SFX libraries out there, yet somehow always a bit underwhelmed. At Silverplatter Audio we set out to change that. We wanted to create the ultimate wind library that we would actually want to use ourselves, and hopefully you’ll feel the same way!

    To accomplish this, we built a custom Jenklin Disc to create separation between our microphones, similar to how our head separates our ears. We then placed this specially designed Jenklin Disc inside a slightly modified Rode Blimp. The result was an incredibly natural-sounding wind recording that captured the true essence of the environment.

    The versatility of these wind sound effects is truly remarkable. This pack offers a wide range of recordings, capturing everything from gentle breezes to powerful storms. It’s perfect for recreating the immersive atmosphere of a raging tempest or simply adding a subtle touch of tranquility with a gentle gust of wind.

    Kickboxing Match Ambiences Vol. 1 comprises immersive multi-channel recordings captured by our Audio Craftsmen at a real boxing match.

    Fighter sparring, emphatic crowd shouts, coaching from the sidelines, competition glove impacts, footwork shuffles, gameplay presence, encouraging cheers, excited applause, British-accented reactions and more were captured in situ from different mono perspectives. These were then configured into stereo for the maximum dose of realism.

    Use these sounds to craft emotion-filled, authentic backgrounds in your boxing-based Film, TV and Game projects.

    All sounds are delivered in 24Bit 96kHz format allowing further sonic manipulation, and have been meticulously edited and tagged with extensive UCS compliant metadata for ease of use.

    Hear the meditative and mystic sound of the didgeridoo. Invented by the Indigenous Australian people more than 1000 years ago, this vibrant instrument is also called “yiḏaki”, the voice.

    Played by vibrating lips and a special technique called circular breathing, didgeridoo’s sound imitates animals, nature and legends.

    In Taiwan, immersing in traffic of scooters and cars is a daily occurrence. Waiting for the green light in the sea of scooters, and VROOOOOOM, all the scooters simultaneously rev their engines and accelerate forward as the light turns green. These are the sounds of the rush hour traffic in Taipei.

    IN THE TRAFFIC is a sound library that makes you feel like you’re in the middle of the traffic in Taipei city.

    It features the sounds of scooters, cars and buses passing by, the idle scooters sea at red lights, and the eager acceleration of scooters and motorcycles as they compete to speed forward when the light turns green. Additionally, the sounds of riding through tunnel and underpass can also be found in this sound library.

    IN THE TRAFFIC adopts a slightly experimental approach, placing the microphones on the front sides, and riding a relatively quiet electric scooter with almost no engine sound in the traffic of Taipei.

    Bird sounds and human voices have been carefully removed, providing you pure useful recordings for your creative works.

    This library includes 58 stereo files recorded in AB at 96 kHz. Approx. 44 minutes total.

    Atacama Desert is a collection of stereo and quad soundscapes recorded in the barren but amazingly beautiful desert plateau of Western Chile. This is the most arid desert on Earth, with some weather stations here having never recorded any rain. It’s a breathtaking place with incredible silence and powerful winds. The soundscapes in this collection were recorded around giant rock pillars, endless rock plains and fields of sparse dry vegetation.

    This library is the perfect way to portray the barren expanse of the Atacama desert. Some of the soundscapes recorded are the lightest of desert airs. The others feature wind, from light and soft to heavy and gusty. Lastly, some of the recordings also include flies buzzing around.

    This library was recorded in several locations on the border between Chile, Argentina and Bolivia . Reaching this part of the world was no easy task, as you can see in the second part of the teaser video.
