Get an extensive collection of South African nature ambiences (average duration: 5 minutes), from places like the Mhkaya Jungle, Kruger National Park, The Wetlands and more. Locations include jungles, swamps, ponds, rivers and towns. Featuring all sorts of crickets and cicades, of course – but there’s also plenty of other South African wildlife, like mosquitoes, birds, fighting baboons and snorting hippos The sounds were captured during various times of both day and night and give you a huge variety of ambiences to work with.

Shores of Senja is a collection of wave recordings from the second largest island in Norway. We spent three days on Senja and recorded a wide variety of waves on different surfaces. This collection includes small to big waves and surfaces like sandy beaches, pebbles, rocks and cliffsides.
We recorded everything with one cardioid stereo pair and one omni stereo pair for added flexibility and options in the mix. The library features 192kHz/24bit stereo broadcast wave files with embedded metadata, and also includes all files converted to 96kHz/24 bit stereo broadcast wave files with embedded metadata.

A larger focus on wind – with trees, brush, crickets, and other sounds often included. There are also plain wind sounds recorded on exceptionally quiet wilderness winter nights that can be layered over most every project for several minutes or longer. Additionally includes some branches breaking in high winds and rain patter.
Have you heard about fractals, if so then you probably know that they can be used as art; to an almost-infinite detail creating mind boggling patterns. Luckily, it so happens that one of our core team sound-designers is also a well known fractal artist.
With the help of “photo-synthesis” and “spectral-manipulations”, we extracted the unique impulse responses straight out of some of the most mathematical pieces of art we have ever seen. These visually insane patterns resulted in some truly unique sonic experiences, which we have been unable to find anywhere else. We recorded the Cantabria Country in Spainan area belonging to Green Spain, the name given to the strip of land between the Bay of Biscay and the Cantabrian Mountains, so called because of its particularly lush vegetation, due to the wet and moderate oceanic climate. The climate is strongly influenced by Atlantic Ocean winds trapped by the mountains.
Recorded in ambisonic format, 48Khz and 24 bits HD. As always, top quality recordings specially designed for film audio projects.

The 1970 Volvo Amazon police car sound effects library gathers 468 clips in 17.5 gigabytes of audio. Also known as the Volvo Canadian, the collection depicts the Swedish vehicle’s B20 straight 4-cylinder engine in 38 takes.
The car’s engine, exhaust, intake, and interior are portrayed in 8 onboard perspectives via 12 channels of audio. Fast, medium, and slow exterior maneuvers such as arriving, passing, and departing are captured at 4 discrete locations using 8 perspectives and 17 channels. The library includes ramps, gearshift, and steady maneuvers as well as a suite of idles and blips. The car’s siren is portrayed onboard and in Doppler exterior passes by. There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
