  • – 3-D processor with room panning

Panorama is a specialized tool for creating stunningly realistic 3-D audio scenes using regular stereo sound. The DSP technology in Panorama reproduces psychoacoustic sound localization and distance cues, allowing you to pan sounds in three dimensions: not just left and right, but up, down, front, back, near, and far. Panorama combines HRTF-based audio panning with acoustic environment modeling, including wall reflections, reverberation, distance modeling, and the Doppler pitch effect.
Panorama sounds amazing when heard on headphones. Anyone producing podcasts or music specifically intended for mobile devices should definitely check out Panorama. Panorama also includes a crosstalk canceller to format the output for playback over conventional stereo loudspeakers. In this mode, Panorama can make sounds appear to come from outside the normal stereo soundstage.

  • – Great Sounding Noise Reduction Processor

MR Noise is a broadband noise reduction processor. It distinguishes itself by being both great sounding and incredibly easy to use. Like most noise reduction systems, MR noise works in the frequency domain, and requires that the noise spectrum be learned before noise reduction can commence. If your track starts with a bit of silence then MR Noise will work right out of the box, since by default MR Noise has the Learn parameter enabled, then when you hit play, MR Noise will learn the noise profile and start noise reduction. The default parameters work extremely well for most cases. One of our reviewers thought something was wrong because they opened up MR Noise and the noise vanished – and they didn’t have to do anything.

When designing MR Noise, we spent considerable effort researching and experimenting with existing noise reduction algorithms. MR Noise combines the best of these with some new innovations, especially our Auto Dynamics mode. This mode automatically adjusts the attack and release times of the noise reduction processor based upon the amount of transients in the input signal. This minimizes artifacts in the noise reduction processing while maintaining sharp transients that would normally be smeared by other methods.
The user interface makes it a snap to see and hear what is going on. The frequency response display shows the spectrum of the input signal, noise floor, and output signal so you can see at a glance what frequencies are being reduced. A monitor feature allows you to hear the noise that is being removed (with separate volume control). For most cases you simply have to select a preset and hit play, MR Noise will learn the floor and start reduction. Then you can simply adjust the Amount control to set the amount of reduction. For super fine tweaking, the noise floor and all the reduction parameters can be edited as a function of frequency by dragging control points on the frequency response display.

  • Glass Bottle Percussion is a cinematic instrument built from 400+ sample recordings of antique glass bottles.

Our Audio Craftsmen meticulously edited, balanced and programmed 4 round robins and 3 velocity layers for each bottle, before integrating them into our Kontakt interface, giving Film Composers and Music Producers a suite of unique textures to use in their tracks. These sounds are perfect for trailer percussion loops, rhythmic tension, electronic music and film score cues with an exotic tonality.

The Main Articulations include: Drumstick Hits, Hand Taps, Bottle Top Hits, Drum Beater Hits, Nail Taps, Rolls, Scrapes and Wobbles.

But we didn’t stop there… As always with our Kontakt library releases, our in-house Composers designed an eclectic array of designed patches. Pads, choirs, drones, oil drums, screams, plucks and even karate chops give the user both tonal and atonal material to layer with their percussion, and build a haunting, glassy texture into their sound.

The 344 Audio Kontakt interface provides a variety of controls that encourage experimentation with the patches. The built in Arpeggiator is great for generating hundreds of percussion variations on the fly, while the Main View provides a set of parameters perfect for shaping the sounds your way.

Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher is required.
NOTE: This library does not run in the free ‘Kontakt Player’

  • The “Seismic Activities” sound archive contains over 2500 different noises from vibrations, shocks and their resonances. The “Seismic Activities” sound archive contains over 2500 different noises from vibrations, shocks, and their resonances.
We have taken the trouble to use a set-up of different natural sounds, such as frequency drops, thunder, or the sound of deep rumbling, to control two structure-borne sound transducers. We have installed these converters in various locations. For example, we were at a company that produces large roller doors. There we shook all sorts of pipes, high racks, tool cabinets, gates, and the like.
In addition, we worked with many household items to create a variety of sound structures, which should make the use of “seismic activities” particularly diverse.
Almost all of the sounds were generated from a multi-channel set-up made up of Sennheiser MKH80 (ORTF), DPA 4060 (AB) and a Sony DR100. So you can expect the best sound quality. As always, a Sounddevices 744T and a Mixpre were used as recording devices.
As always, all files come with burned in metadata in open standards like iXml, BWAV, ID3 Chunk.

  • This third volume (called “Level 3 – Organic Transients”) is a five instruments collection library with a lot of percussion sounds and several sound manipulation possibilities. The name “Organic transients” refers to the fact that all of the sounds are created with exhausted drumheads recorded with several sticks and mallets making a huge palette of kicks, snares and creative hits with an organic feel yet very “electronic”. The wide range of sonic manipulation controls allow for great flexibility and sound design freedom. With the 3 samples Round Robin switch it’s possible to give more lively feeling to a static track and with the momentary switches for the every effect you can turn on and off specific effects temporarily while performing and/or recording.

  • “Bizzarro” is a unique instrument. It features two separate sound engines that can be blended together to create Your unique sounds. The two engines are called “Transient” and “Partials”. The first one is a collection of pluck sounds you can shape with fundamental controls and a dedicated multimode filter. The second engine is called “Partials” and it gives You a huge variety of sonic shaping options. It has five level controls for “partials”, like you would have in additive synthesis, but instead of being simple sine waveforms each partial is a complex and rich sound, tuned following the harmonic series. It also has a dedicated multimode filter. Both filters have their own envelope generator with dedicated controls. The Partials engine also has a dedicated Vibrato effect.

  • A brand new Impulse Response pack made with 4 guitar pedals reverbs:

  • The “Distant City And Morning Parks” Library has been recorded for more than a year, in about 7 different cities and 3 countries. The library is divided into 2 subsections:

    1) Distant Cities: The subject of this section is large and small towns in different seasons. Respectively can be heard both classic distant city rumble sounds, as well as light burds activity, distant sirens, train, and car horns, distant traffic, church bells e.t.c.

    2) Morning Parks: Mostly recorded early in the morning in spring and summer, when there is light human activity, some footsteps, few dogs, even frogs in the middle of a city park. You can hear birds activity and of course distant traffic. Several fountains, recorded from different distances, have also found their place in this library.

All files are meta-tagged with UCS format in Soundminer.

Enjoy the city from a distance.

EMPTY CITIES DURING LOCKDOWN (restrictions due to Covid-19)

The lockdown was such a restrictive and devastating measure for all the societies we live in. At the same time though, it created a unique opportunity in history from a soundscape point of view.
This sound library frames that moment.
I believe it could have, in first place, an historical and anthropological value.
Attentive listeners will be able to appreciate how a reduced human presence did actually set free sounds that were barely audible, changing the perception of them. If earlier our ears used to meet constant sound streams, compact drones due to omnipresent traffic, now they can perceive a microcosm of sounds, small details, sound objects that bounce in the empty cities, finally free. Voices and murmuring of the few people around are all muffled by the use of face masks.
Sound designers will be able to make full use of this microcosm to paint their backgrounds with lively environments, full of small sounds, buzzes, scattered voices, thuds, bells, and so on, all reverberated in empty open spaces.
With human beings locked up, sounds got unlocked!
Enjoy listening and feel free to get in touch for feedbacks at [email protected]
