    Heavily processed ambient field recordings, short and long build-ups and transition effects, hits, slams, abstract foley fx, a vast selection of risers, cinematic kicks and hyper detailed impacts, found sounds patterns played in real time, then chopped and sculpted into percussive textures.

    Monochrome is simultaneously alluring and disorienting with its experimental aesthetic. There are long, dissonant and amorphous echoes manipulated beyond identification, intimate atmospheres with an identifiable aesthetic and and hi peaks of emotional resonance.

    Monochrome is a collaboration between SampleTraxx and French sound designer Julien Caraz.

    – 6 band multi-band Compressor

    MultiDynamics is a powerful multi-band dynamics processor useful for mastering, track processing, sound design, and noise reduction. MultiDynamics provides up to 6 bands with independent compression or expansion per band. MultiDynamics has an elegant and ingenious user interface that makes it easy to edit bands and to visualize and hear what is happening.

    Multiband dynamics processing combines the techniques of equalization and single band dynamics processing. A simple application of multiband dynamics is to apply compression or expansion to a specific frequency range. It is also possible to think of multiband dynamics as applying equalization which is dependent on the level of the input sound. So one can set up an EQ curve for low volumes and set another EQ curve for high volumes.

    Another use of multiband dynamics is noise reduction. One can set up multiple bands to do noise gating, by setting the gain to decrease when the signal falls below threshold. Also, multiband dynamics applied to solo instrument sounds can be used for sound design. It is possible to split up the sound into different frequency ranges, apply compression to some and expansion to others, and dramatically change the character of the original sound.

  • Ice Sound Effects Ice FX Play Track 82+ sounds included, 60 mins total $30

    Recordings of the ice recorded in: MS stereo, with hydrophones and with contact mics.

    Stereo recordings of the ice in many mic positions; Underwater recordings of the ice; Ice recorded with contact mics placed on the ice surface; Check the sound list for info.

    Here you can find: kick, blast, cracks and other “strange” sounds of the ice. Great material for sound design, Foley etc.  Recordings are organized in folders by type of the sound. Metadata tagged with description of equipment used included.

    Structure borne sound (contact mics) and hydrophone recordings are captured in two channels (at the same time-in sync). Ch. left is closer to the object and Ch. right is away from the object. You can experiment with the levels of two channels to get the depth of field. (Just a few hydrophone recordings  are recorded in mono/single hydrophone)

    Conventional stereo recordings are recorded in MS with Sennheiser MKH 60/40/30 and Sound Devices 744T.

    Contact mics are JRFs and hydrophones are Aquarian audio H2a-XLR routed via Sound Devices Mix Pre (Lundahl input transformers) to get warmer sound.

    Screaming is a collection of different types of scream sounds covering everything from funny anime to disturbing horror screams. Unlike other libraries out there, we have recorded a wide variety of male and female screams in specific situations which include: anime screams, warrior screams, screams of a football fan, falling from height, horror screams, screams inside a tunnel and much, much more.

    Our Audio Craftsmen recorded performances of our in-house voice artists from various distances. We have captured screams close-miked, from distant perspectives and even shouts and screams from a tunnel which has a haunting natural reverb.     Sochi is unique place because of attractive coastal and mountain landscapes, long beaches and warm (humid subtropical) climate. This combination allows, for example, to ski in the mountains and swim in the sea literally in one place!

    Also, Sochi hosted the 2014 Winter Olympics, for which sports venues were built in the city and mountains.

    In this library we’ll visit several areas of Sochi: urban, suburban, coastal, snowy mountains and capture those atmospheres using stealth recording technique armed with a pair of DPA 4060s in AB array.

    After carefully strapping some very expensive microphones all over an electric scooter bike, I hit record and set out to capture the highest resolution e-bike recordings on the internet! With all microphones on-board the scooter, I am able to bring you a very hard to get perspective of recording. Since I recorded this with so many different microphones, I am also giving you the ability to highlight different sound focuses: there are mics specifically directed toward the tires and ground to capture that raw grip of the tires against the road, a stereo pair following the bike to capture the debris kicked up by the bike, and finally a set of binaural microphones that capture the feeling of being on the bike from the driver’s perspective, all captured at a stunning 192kHz, 24 bit.
