I would love to introduce you to sound library that is a little different:
“Resistance” is a library that I’ve created while working on a Game Collaboration and an animation series – and it has been essential to my sound designs and editorial touches towards the final product in all productions. It has truly proven itself as being as a really helpful asset in a number of different circumstances, from characters growth and transformations to jumping elements in a cartoon style!
This library contains 72 files – and every single one of them is provided with variations for an expanded use for your production. All sound elements were recorded under controlled conditions to ensure that all the details of the sounds were captured in a dry recording environment.
All the content has been recorded with two kinds of microphones: RODE NT2A gave the sounds their low-mid detail; and a Sennheiser ME66, which is a shotgun microphone with a strong characteristic in the high mid frequencies.
Let your designing imagination be the limit of your creation!
Clockworks Vol.2 is here. A new cinematic trailer loops collection of never-ending tick-tock, custom metal ticking, antique tick-tock, metronomes and grandfather clocks not recorded from traditional clock sources.
Sounds have been designed out of field recording, found sounds and various organic sources processed to provide you a creative toolbox.
Use loops as they come or combine them together to create your very own unique ticking sequences from simple clicking to the most complex mechanical clockworks.
The sonic quality extends a large spectrum from modern to old, clean and rusty which allows you quick access to a range of clock-related sound effects organised in 4 WAV folders and 7 Kontakt instruments of rich, varied loops ready-to-use for any project.
All sounds are looped and synced in Kontakt to perfectly match the bpm of your project.
Tormented hypnotic backgrounds, abstract noises, sonic mutations and cinematic evolutions, textural tones for visuals, trailers and film soundtrack, media sound design and ambient music that can be used individually or combined together to create infinite variations of sonic moods.
The core concept of OPIUM is to create a collection of narrowband textures that sit between the 2nd and the 3rd octave, not completely filling the audio spectrum and leaving plenty of room for bass, melodic parts and other sound design elements.
OPIUM has been produced with no synthesis at all, instead, all sounds have been processed from field recording and raw audio pieces, to present you an exclusive sound set.
Each sound works perfectly as an immediate mood setter to create tense and uneasy dramatic pieces, dark and menacing sonic background. Furthermore, by laying together you can quickly create absolutely huge audio moments.
For sound designers, composer and audio creatives at any level.
A collection of gardening related sounds. Most of the sounds, such as digging soil, pruning roses, raking leaves, mowing grass and leaf blowing are recorded in a domestic garden. There are also some larger scale public garden sounds such as wood chipping, a sprinkler and chainsaws and there are also some ambiences of a garden centre store.
All recorded in England.
Crowd Sounds From A British Soccer Match
Crowd sounds recorded at a smaller London Football Club match. Cheers, groans, chants and quite a lot of swearing.

Beirut, the capital of Lebanon is where East-meets-West. Fast-paced, crowded and congested with traffic, it’s filled with car honks and city noise. Among all the destroyed buildings, you will find its deep and rich history. Beirut has also a more relaxed side, filled with cafes, restaurants and never-ending nightlife. This library features a small glimpse into this multicultural Arabic-speaking city.

Metal Smash – What do you get when you go to the junkyard with the best Schoeps Microphones money can buy.
Every effect is also recorded with a sub sonic microphone to add depth to the smashes. Great complicated crashes with extra metallic details.
The sounds presented in this pack were recorded during the shooting of a short film taking place by the ocean. We shot in different places, in the marina, on a boat, in an industrial harbor area, in a wharehouse of boat maintenance.
Even if some sounds of the pack are not fully in the theme, I voluntarily left them because they were recorded at the same time and in order to serve the film.
The most represented sounds in this pack are those recorded in the marina, the wind blowing in the masts of the boats, at the seaside, as well as a detailed recording of the zodiac boat.
Sounds were recorded using Sound Devices 633, in 24bits 96Khz, Schoeps CCM 21 mic in ORTF, with an extra CCM 41 for the center (LCR), and using an extra contact mic to record the motor of the zodiac boat.
All the sounds are raw (No EQ, No Compression, No Fx).
This pack contains 40 sounds, 80 files, for the ambiences.
It also contains 15 sounds, 39 files for the zodiac boat.
All embedded with detailed metadata on Soundminer.
Welcome to “MOTION MODE”, an intense collection of sounds to induce movement and evoke excitement in your production.
You will find whooshes, transitions, noises, granular textures, movements, stutters and hits with a powerful Sci-fi feel.
Special attention was put in the dynamics of the sounds to ensure the creation of an energetic pack aimed to enhance atmospheres, add movement and enrich musical compositions.
If you liked some of my previous libraries like “Dodge this” and “The Transition” you are gonna love this one.
Huge deep and textural organic whoosh by’s. These are un-altered but a total blast. Want more fun, just (again) compress and pitch to fit, and hell, maybe add a little distortion.
A great collection of organic sliding whooshes. They sound great, have lots of movement and are almost always complicated movements not just simple whoosh by’s.
Assorted firework recordings, ranging from individual explosions to multiple fireworks going off at the same time.
This collection has lots of nice sharp bangs, and includes a variety of firework sounds recorded close up and from a distance.
A small collection of horror sting sound effects, ideal for spooky, scary, Halloween and horror uses.

Add depth and ferocity to your scenes and creature designs with the untamed energy of Wildlife Collection: Bengal Tiger. With 150 vivid tiger sound effects and vocalizations, this pristinely captured specialty library delivers a wide variety of tiger recordings that are ready for naturalistic use or manipulation for sound design applications.
Featuring the expressive sounds of a middle aged female Bengal tiger, recordist and sound effects editor Chris Diebold (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Transformers: The Last Knight) captured this collection at 24-bit/192kHz using multiple microphones, including the Sanken CO-100K, which has a frequency response of 20Hz – 100kHz. This makes the natural and characteristic sounds of the tiger ripe for pitch processing and control over your sound design. Use the high-quality recordings of deep growls, gnarly crunches, and heavy chuffs to design your beasts, creatures, monsters and more.
In addition to the raw recordings, this collection also contains designed and “hyped” sounds, ready to drag-and-drop directly into your monstrous designs and animalistic scenes. Each sound file is embedded with rich, descriptive metadata for fast, intuitive search results to help increase efficiency and sustain creativity.
Recorded in the woods, two pit bull families. These guys are all playing, but they sound totally fierce. Compress a little, pitch down a little, all fun.
These are wonderful recordings of dogs. Very scary very vocal very violent. Really good deep growling with lots of character. Just a joy to design with.
Nuts and Bolts contains a huge array of DIY and construction themed sound effects featuring tools that are used by tradesmen such as hammers, saws, chisels and spanners, as well as several other miscellaneous tools such as brushes, tape, filler guns and of course, nuts, bolts and screws.
As well as hand-operated tools, Nuts and Bolts gives you several power tool sound effects being operated at different intensity levels. All of the sounds in this library have been recorded in context, meaning that they reflect how you would actually use the tools, not just how they sound in a controlled studio environment. We recorded close, distant and far recordings to capture natural reverb, giving you the maximum flexibility when searching for the right sound for your projects. We also recorded dropping effects for most of the tools.
Nuts and Bolts contains a total of 145 files (with lots of variations per file) including a designed folder of 10 sounds. This library gives you everything you need to create compelling DIY and construction soundscapes, ideal for use in a range of sound design applications including building sites, mechanics garages, joinery, metalwork workshops, painting, decorating, and demolition based scenes. All sounds have been recorded in 24bit 96khz, and have been carefully edited so that you can easily drop them into your project timeline and get working right away.
Here are the included folders:

With A Sound Effect, Asbjoern has created a web site where our international community can browse, learn, and share the vast fruits of our labors. Together we are accelerating the very real potential power of sound design as a recognized art form.
A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.
A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
