new sound effects - tropical, firearms and money sounds Asbjoern Andersen

This week we have all the sounds you need for a mafia’s dream getaway. After grabbing all the cash they can find, the mobsters barely escape a stairway shootout before they escape on the next helicopter to tropical Central America. They plan to live lavishly off the grid, but will they make it through the night before the backstabbing begins?
Money

  • Foley Sound Effects Money Play Track 34 sounds included $9

Money is just over 21 Mb of coins and notes/bills being handled. You get 34 files in 24bit/96kHz quality. All files are UCS-compliant.

This collection contains sounds of coins being handled, counted, poured, dropped – in hands, on tables and in a cash register drawer. There are also a few sounds of bills/notes/paper money being handled and counted. The whole thing was recorded in the studio, meaning a nice, dry sound to build on. The coins and bills used were a mixture of various international currency.

    You get:

    • Clean, dry recordings of coins and notes.
    • Searchable file names
    • BWAV metadata embedded with even more included in CSV and ODS (OpenOffice) formats
Money by Hzandbits contains dozens of sounds of various international currency being handled, counted, dropped onto tables, and poured into cash registers. These sounds were recorded to be as dry of reverb as possible while maintaining a natural sound. Also included in this library is the handling of paper money as it is counted and sorted for a quick, concise collection.

The London Warehouse Firearms Library

  • Firearms Sound Effects The London Warehouse Firearms Library – Indoor Guns Play Track 291+ sounds included, 240 mins total $199

Audiobeast is proud to present our first sample library; the first library of its kind to focus entirely on weapons being fired in interior spaces!

The London Warehouse Weapons Library contains over 6 GBs of weapons being fired in a large warehouse, medium warehouse, stairwell, office and small room. 291 WAV files all recorded at 96 khz 24 bit, with heaps of information on microphones used and distance from the firearms.

Various distances were captured, from the DPA4062 on the guns themselves, to the distant other end of the warehouse 50 metres away. To add, some mics were positioned behind doors and walls to capture the occluded gunfire.

As well as all the firing we’ve included all the foley as well, because while convolution reverb is great, nothing beats actual content!

Minimal cleanup on the recordings was carried out very carefully by Steve Whetman in his room at Pinewood Studios, so as not to introduce any artefacts into the recordings, they are presented as raw as possible.

Weapons fired in the large and medium warehouse spaces:
    • Browning M2 .50 Machine Gun
    • Steyr HS .50 M1 Sniper Rifle
    • H&K 416 5.56 Assault Rifle
    • Remington 870 12g Pump Action Shotgun
    • Brown Bess Black Powder Musket
    • Colt M1911 .45 ACP Pistol
Weapons fired in the stairwell, office and small room spaces:
    • H&K 416 5.56 Assault Rifle
    • Colt M1911 .45 ACP Pistol

Due to safety restrictions it was not possible to fire the bigger weapons in the smaller spaces, the ceiling was shaking while recording the Assault Rifle in the office and stairwell and came close to collapsing. Physically the Browning M2 .50 calibre Machine Gun would not even fit on the stairwell or in the small room.

Audiobeast has released their first sample library, and it is an extensive one! The London Warehouse Firearms Library contains over 6 GBs of machine guns, sniper rifles, assault rifles, shotguns, muskets and pistols being fired in warehouses, stairwells, offices and small rooms. Even if you already have an extensive firearms library, this one is worth hearing as a reference point for natural indoor reverb.

Tropical Ambiences

  • Environments & Ambiences Tropical Ambiences Play Track 52+ sounds included, 126 mins total From: $69

‘Tropical Ambiences’ delivers 52 pure, immersive tropical soundscapes, meticulously collected from each subset of tropical ecosystems in extremely-bio-diverse Central America.

It includes rainforests (jungle), cloudforests, dry forests, mangroves, and many other settings.

Recorded at different times of the day and spanning diverse range of weather conditions with various scale of rain and wind forces, this sound pack provides access to a complete array of wild tropical soundscapes.

Each of the 52 files is a careful selection of 1 to 4 minutes high-quality binaural stereo ambiences.

It has been precisely produced so that each track is able to LOOP in a seamless manner allowing for the ambience to last as long as desired, and the files are embedded with metadata (Soundminer/iXML/XMP/BWAV/ID3). The metadata descriptions provide the identification of many animal species from the recordings.

In total, this library delivers more than 2 hours of pristine, tropical ambiences.

Is there anywhere more peaceful than a rainforest, besides your own bed? Tropical Ambiences from Articulated Sounds captures a Central American haven saturated in complex bird calls, fricative invertebrates, and giant leaves protecting those below from the stormy rain and wind. Even with all the vaccinations needed to enter a rainforest, it is hard to not envy Stéphane Fufa Dufour for capturing all these rare animals. Each track seamlessly loops and may just lull you to sleep.

  • In the realm of echoes and reverberations, metal doors and their components orchestrate a symphony of industrial sounds. The action of using a door handle, whether it’s the lighter click or the heavier clunk, sets the stage for the ensuing creaks and clangs of metal doors swinging open or slamming shut. The eerie screech of metal on metal, the clattering of a metal grid being opened, and the definitive shut of a metal locker add layers of depth to this auditory landscape.
