All recordings have been taken from backyards where the city noise is very close to zero, mainly from sunrise and sunset, though there are some night recordings. These recordings focus on seagulls, but they also have a few sparrows, doves and magpies as well. Seagulls vocalizations include classic screams, throaty and raspy calls, laughing sounds and mews from individuals and flocks from various perspectives.
'Modular Explorations: Bristol' by Gregor Quendel is an adventurous library that investigates cinematic alien arcades and cities, deserted crystalline caverns, vast hives of digital insects, distressed metal impacts, and abstract user interface sounds. This library was created with Eurorack equipment (Mutable Instruments, Intellijel, Doepfer, Erica Synths, etc.) recorded into an Emu E5000 Ultra Sampler, then processed digitally using a variety of techniques and high-end effects.
'Mazda 6 III 2.0 Skyactive G' by Soundholder features recordings of the engine under the hood, mixed with exhaust during various driving scenarios and accelerations. In addition to engine recordings you'll find interior sounds recorded in sync with the engine. Additionally there are exterior passes in mono, stereo ORTF and stereo AB during passes. Last but not least, there are few Foley recordings for a total length of 104 minutes.
'The Counting Voice' by John Silke is a library with a man with a neutral English accent counting from zero to one hundred, in hundreds to one thousand, and in thousands to ten thousand. Using the various files you can concatenate the files to read any number between 0-10,999 (and beyond if you fancy some creative editing).
