Seattle Game Audio November – Modular Synths vs. Game Audio
November 14 @ 19:00 - 22:00 UTC-8
Join Seattle Game Audio for a hands on look at designing sounds for video games, leveraging modular synthesizers. This evening will start with presenters Robbie Elias, Jason Wolford, and Chris Burgess walking through examples of modular synth patches that exemplify the benefit of these systems. Followed by a “petting-zoo” where attendees can come up and manipulate and patch for themselves to get some hands on time with a modular system. This event should be a showcase of the joys and often many blunders of the modular synth recording process in a guided and safe space.
Note: All Guests will need to preregister by November 11th
Patchwerks will be graciously hosting this event and can fit 20 people into their space. We will have two, one-hour sessions beginning at 7:00 & 8:15. Please register for the corresponding session when selection your tickets for this event.
Attendees will meet at Eastlake Bar and Grill in advance of their scheduled time slot and then will be escorted as a group to Patchwekrs. Please sign up for the desired time slot and be prompt.
There should be time during each session to peruse the fine selection of synthesizers available at Patchwerks to get your modular addiction started!
