3D Pacific Volcano Eruptions

'3D Pacific Volcano Eruptions' by Bjarne Taurnier captures the awe-inspiring symphony of raw power and untamed energy of volcanic eruptions. Recorded on Tanna Island with the immersive Schoeps ORTF3D, you can hear eruptions, explosions, wind, and ambiences in 3D Surround, Stereo, and Binaural.

  • The sound of a volcano is an awe-inspiring symphony of raw power and untamed energy. It is a cacophony that reverberates through the air, leaving an indelible mark on anyone fortunate enough to witness it. As the molten rock churns and rises within the depths of the Earth, a rumbling bass begins to emerge, like the distant growl of a slumbering giant. We recorded the Yasur Volcano on Tanna island with the amazing immersive Schoeps ORTF3D microphone system powered by the precise preamps of the Sonosax R4+ and AD8+.

    The Library include sounds like

VOLCANO, ERUPTIONS, EXPLOSIONS, CRISP, MUFFLED, CLOSE, DISTANT, WIND, PLAIN

    Key Features:

    • 20 Sounds between 4-6 minutes
    • Ambiences with wind and eruptions
    • Single Volcano Eruptions

  • Swish is a micro-collection that contains a ton of variation of two objects swinging around, creating swishing/swooshing sounds.  The first is a simple cat toy wand and string, that used to have feathers on the end.  The second is a branch from a thorn bush.  The collection includes individual swishes, multiple swishes, and continuous swishes (swirling around and around).  Each at various speeds.

Typewriters

'Typewriters' by Evocative Sound and Visuals features 20 vintage typewriters recorded with high-end Barcus Berry contact mics. You'll get more than the simple click-clack-clunk heard in so many TV shows and movies - with metallic zips, rips, twangs, growls, crunches, bounces, snaps, zings, rings, dings, etc.

  • Typewriters is a sound effects collection chock-full of vintage typewriters making sounds beyond the simple click-clack-clunk heard in so many TV shows and movies. I was curious if there was more to the sound of these old machines than meets the naked ear. Would recording them with high-end Barcus Berry contact microphones help bring out the best in them sonically? After recording 20 typewriters for this library, and performing a variety of keystrokes and actions on each in isolation, I can definitively say, yes.

Included are standard, portable and ultraportable machines from the early 20th century to the mid-1970s. Each machine, metal or plastic, emits sounds that are almost musical in nature. These files can enhance your next sound design project in nuanced ways that exceed the usual clickity-clack-clunk-thwack-smack we associate with typewriters. You’ll get a variety of zips, rips, twangs, growls, bounces, snaps, zings, rings and dainty end-of-line warning bell dings.

THE WORLD’S EASIEST WAY TO GET INDEPENDENT SOUND EFFECTS:

A Sound Effect gives you easy access to an absolutely huge sound effects catalog from a myriad of independent sound creators, all covered by one license agreement - a few highlights:

  • Destruction & Impact Sounds Cataclysm Play Track 1482 sounds included $195

Cataclysm is a vast collection of recorded, synthesized and designed sounds created to support important destructive moments and add a stronger sense of extreme consequence to any sound.

The recorded section of library features elements such as flash powder explosions, propane cannon blasts and artillery cannons recorded in unique natural environments with violent transients and lush, long and varied tails. It also features falling trees, forge burners, large trebuchet wood groans, rock smashes as well as more ordinary items recorded and designed to feel like an over the top version of themselves such as vacuum cleaner suctions, metal vase holders, ground pounders and more.

The synthesized section of the library features equally rich textures in the form of explosion sweeteners, other-worldly environmental reflections, scorching energy risers and more.

Finally, recorded and synthesized content was employed to develop the designed section, where the hyperrealism of the recordings meets the clean yet aggressive textures of the synthesized section in catastrophic assets themed around the library’s title.

Bonus: Two extra libraries included for free:
This library also includes two additional releases from Mattia Cellotto - for free: Crunch Mode delivers 230 crunchy sounds made with a variety of vegetables, fresh bread, pizza crust and a selection of frozen goods. The Borax Experiment gets you 158 squishy, gory, slimy and gooey sounds.
  • Destruction & Impact Sounds Metamorphosis Play Track 2328 sounds included $190

Metamorphosis is a huge collection of recorded source, synthesized material and hybrid sounds. The library was created to cover a wide range of themes, with rich textures, aggressive impacts and a large selection of pass bys, bass drops, pyrotechnics and many more types of material.

All of the Recorded Section was captured at 384KHz with microphones capable of recording up to 200KHz among with more conventional mics. The resulting assets are sounds that can be stretched to new extremes for greater sound design opportunities.
In many cases I took the liberty to slow down the assets while editing the sounds to deliver what I thought was the most useful version of a given recording though in most cases I have also included other takes at the original 384KHz sample rate to get the best of both worlds.

All of the Synthesized Content was created in Serum while the Hybrid Section was created by manipulating the Recorded and Synthesized sounds.

Techniques such as morphing were used to blur the lines in between the nature of the two sources, making for ambiguous yet extremely versatile material that can be employed on both realistic and abstract designs.

Bonus: Two extra libraries included for free:
